Time-Line TherapyTM is a specific technique using the concept that we store our life experiences linearly. Time Line Therapy™ is a collection of techniques that allow you to gain emotional control over your life. Inappropriate emotional reactions, such as bursts of anger, periods of apathy, depression, sadness, anxiety, and chronic fear, are responsible for preventing people from achieving the quality of life they desire. Limiting decisions, such as "I'm not good enough," "I'll never be rich," or "I don't deserve a great marriage," create false limitations and hamper your ability to create reachable and attainable goals and outcomes. Created by Dr. Tad James, Time Line Therapy¨ techniques enable you to eliminate many types of issues in your past, thus allowing you to move forward toward your goals and desires.

Why does Time Line Therapy™ work so well?
The Time Line Therapy™ works on the principle of a Gestalt. A Gestalt is a sequence of significant emotional events that are all linked together, imagine if you will a pearl necklace with each pearl representing a significant emotional event in your life.

We all have Gestalts for all our emotions, anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt and others. Each time there is a significant emotional event in our lives, another pearl on the necklace is added. Some pearls are big (these are the large emotional events) while some are smaller (the less significant events).

The great news is that Time Line Therapy™allows us to track back to that very first emotional event that lead to the Gestalt being formed. So what do you think would happen if we removed the first pearl from that necklace?

Yep, you got it, the whole necklace (or Gestalt) falls apart and the entire chain of emotional events are dealt with in one go – the real key to the process is getting back to the first event of that emotion – then dealing with it by hovering above it, the client always able to control the intensity of the emotion.  A truly life changing technique used personally and in business.  

Why do clients love Time Line Therapy™ so much? If you've ever had ‘regular’ therapy in the past you will have been required to relive the negative emotion in order to come to terms with it. This is painful and in my view unnecessary.

Time Line Therapy allows you to deal with those negative events and emotions WITHOUT experiencing them again and reliving them. This makes this type of therapy enjoyable, and if something is enjoyable it tends to get great results too!

When is Time Line Therapy™ Used?
In Business
Personally I find that many business owners carry their personal hang ups in life over into their business, beliefs about success, self worth and self doubt all hold a business back. NLP is used to uncover these emotions, find out what they are and Time Line Therapy™ is then used to resolve those emotions to ensure that the client feels ‘whole’ again, aligned to their goals and ready for the future with positivity.

Once again, negative emotions are easy to deal with using Time Line Therapy™ as the client is not required to relive them. This makes therapy using this technique a very powerful experience for the client and totally life changing. What is NLP & How can it Help Me?

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a name that encompasses the three most influential components involved in producing human experience: neurology, language and programming. The neurological system regulates how our bodies function, language determines how we interface and communicate with other people and our programming determines the kinds of models of the world we create & our behaviors. Neuro-Linguistic Programming describes the fundamental dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behavior (programming). 

NLP provides tools and skills for the development of states of individual excellence, but it also establishes a system of empowering beliefs and presuppositions (assumptions) about what human beings are, what communication is and what the process of change is all about. 

NLP was originated by John Grinder (whose background was in linguistics) and Richard Bandler (whose background was in mathematics and gestalt therapy) for the purpose of making explicit models of human excellence. Their first work The Structure of Magic Vol. I & II (1975, 1976) identified the verbal and behavioral patterns of therapists Fritz Perls (the creator of gestalt therapy) and Virginia Satir (internationally renowned family therapist). Their next work Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson, M.D. Vol. I & II (1975, 1976) examined the verbal and behavioral patterns of Milton Erickson, founder of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and one of the most widely acknowledged and clinically successful psychiatrists of our times.

 So, how can NLP help me?
